You are instantly reminded of your incredible location as you walk down the hallway being greeted by the floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing incredible view of Mt Buffalo, beautiful in any season but particularly in the Winter months as the snow-capped mountains are mesmerising.
The apartment is situated above our cellar door.

Situated one hour drive from the snow fields of Falls Creek and Mt Hotham and a short helicopter flight from Melbourne.
Feathertop Winery, your Private Winery Estate, is located in one of the most idyllic settings, with rolling hills, native forest, and an outlook over the alpine peaks of Mt Buffalo. With the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail along the road we are just minutes from the township of Porepunkah and local accommodation whether you are walking, bike riding or driving. The township of Bright is just a 10-minute drive away.
Feathertop is a place where you can truly escape, unwind, and energise in an unpretentious, relaxed atmosphere. A place full of wonder and things to discover; including the bustle of a working winery and vineyard, not to mention our hand-crafted cool climate wines.

About the Winery
Situated in the Alpine Valley Wine Region, Feathertop Winery was established over 30 years ago.
Specialising in classic cool climate wine varieties with over 21 planted on the estate including Shiraz and Merlot, as well as alternate varietals including Savagnin, Sangiovese, Petit Verdot to name a few. Feathertop represents Mt Feathertop, which is the commanding feature in our Region, Alpine Valley.
The Mountain not only visually shelters our valley and influences the air currents, but it has defined the soil structure in which we grow our grapes, as well as, providing us the fresh Alpine spring water that flows and nourishes our vines. These environmental conditions are integral in the process of our wines, they form the rock that we stand on.
Over the years Feathertop winery has evolved and changed and we are now so excited to be operating as a private estate.
